If there is no thermal insulation, this is the best opportunity to apply a vapor barrier on the undercoat and to insulate. Then come the other layers. When renovating the roof, the slope can be changed. For a good roof drainage, a gradient of five percent is reasonable, the prescribed minimum gradient of 2.9 percent is not sufficient.
