Concrete for the garden - the all-rounder

Concrete for the garden - the all-rounder

Concrete for the garden can be used in many ways. The material is sturdy, durable and suits any garden style from purist to romantic.

Concrete is a real all-rounder in garden design. Structural changes or new plants can be easily implemented with the material. In addition, ready-mixed concrete offers a multitude of possibilities to give the garden its own special look with decorative elements, furniture, coverings, bed borders, wallets and planters.

A smooth thing - concrete as a helper for building measures in the garden

Für Concrete is indispensable for the garden. The area for a terrace must first be straightened by concreting before the whole thing is covered with paving stones or tiles. The construction of mortared walls also requires a concrete foundation. Even dry stone walls that are to be built higher than a meter, do not come without a concrete foundation. Concrete is also the material of choice for the construction of solid pools or straight pond pools.

Permanently beautiful - concrete furniture

Stone benches and tables have a very special character, are robust and durable - but also quite expensive. Precast concrete can be used to cast all imaginable shapes, including components for garden furniture. The creation of formwork leaves much room for one's own creativity: straight or semicircular, circular, with or without bulges and patterns (for example, through inlaid leaves or flowers), there are no limits to the imagination here. After curing the individual molds, which can take several days, the parts are put together and finished are the own concrete furniture. At a fraction of the cost, and certainly not less beautiful.

Creative design of paths and walls with concrete

Paths and walls can be individually designed with concrete. Either with finished concrete products such as curbs and tiles in sandstone look. Or for those who like it more creatively: With casting molds and ready-mixed concrete, paving stones, pavement plates and lawn edges are manufactured and laid in a short time. Depending on the shape, this creates a unique pattern for the garden path. Lawn edging stones and bed borders can be individually adapted to the bedding process with your own casting molds.

Concrete for the garden - design and decorate

Concrete decoration elements fit every garden style. Figures, planters and step plates are available as finished concrete products. Creative gardeners design their own decorations. For example, to produce concrete balls, an old football is sufficient, which is filled with ready-mixed concrete and cut open after it has hardened. The finished balls are placed in the garden as they are or previously painted.

For a concrete bird bath, you need a decorative leaf (for example rhubarb or chestnut), which is placed on a sand hill. Do not mix precast concrete too fluidly and pass it on the hill so the leaf is well covered. The bird bath of the brand Eigenbau can be hardened and finished.

Special casting molds can be used to pour all imaginable decorative objects out of concrete: angels, snails, leaves, step plates, plant containers and much more. Concrete for the garden is neither chunky nor boring, but with a little imagination the best material for attractive garden projects.
